by Silva Semerciyan

Based on the true story of the Cottingley Fairies, Silva Semerciyan’s ‘The Light Burns Blue’ tells the story of Elsie Wright, a seventeen-year-old girl convinced that her bad grades and difficulty reading must mean she has nothing at all to offer the world. But, when Elsie picks up her father’s camera and takes photos of her cousin Frances posing with her ‘fairies’, the girls are propelled into a world of fame, fortune, trust and the power of belief.
